Director-level promotions at planning consultancy, Boyer

Boyer, part of Leaders Romans Group, has announced the promotion of two planning consultants to director.

Following completion of the Next Director Programme, Philip Allin has been promoted to Director in the London office and David Hutchinson to Land and Planning Director in the Midlands office.

Andrew Williams, managing director of Boyer comments: Phil joined us as a planner in 2007 in the Twickenham office, progressing to Associate Director before moving into the London office in 2016. Phil has been leading the team on projects in the south-east and will now be responsible for expanding this area of work in line with Boyer’s growth strategy.

Phil has over 15 years of experience of working in the private sector. Over this time he has developed extensive experience in promoting land through the Plan making process, having been involved in a number of significant urban extensions as well as successfully project managing the planning application process from start to finish.

Andrew Williams, managing director of Boyer comments: David joined Boyer’s Midlands office in 2017 soon after it was set up and has been instrumental in establishing Boyer’s presence in the region, bringing significant land, planning and new homes instructions into the business for high profile clients on a number of strategic land sites. David will now lead and develop both the land and planning teams in the region.

David specialises in strategic land promotion for residential and commercial development. He has managed a wide range of complex projects including large mixed-use developments delivering new homes and infrastructure across the Midlands.
