Anwyl Offers The Chance To "See" Inside New Homes in Catterall Before They're Built
AN immersive virtual reality experience enabling buyers to “see” the future will change the way people buy new homes from Anwyl.
Due to open from November 26, Cross Fields in Catterall will be the first Anwyl Homes development to feature the company’s new look sales centres, complete with digital technology that will enable buyers to experience the development before it’s been built.
The high-tech offering will be complemented by two show homes – examples of the three-bedroom Bretton and Appleton house types.
Matthew Gould, sales director for Anwyl Homes Lancashire, said: “The best thing about Anwyl Homes is our product. It wouldn’t be practical to have a show home for all nine house types we’re building in Catterall, but through virtual reality we’re bringing the development to life with the chance to experience every single home. Any property that’s going to be built at the development you can already see virtually. You can also walk through the site or fly over it to experience the layout.
“You can walk through your front door or your neighbours and look around the house and the garden. You can change the configuration of the kitchen including the worktops and the flooring – absolutely everything. People will be able to see the future essentially. They are going to be able to see what their home will look like and how they’ve personalised it. It will change how our customers buy new homes forever and make buying off plan more enjoyable and more personal.”
The virtual reality technology will be available via a big screen in the sales centre and via the Anwyl website.
Anwyl’s investment in the technology supports enhancing the customer journey with all aspects of the process covered by the digital tool.
Cross Fields will feature 80 homes including 24 affordable properties, which will be offered via a housing association for either shared ownership or affordable rent.
Current availability includes three and four-bedroom detached homes with prices from £269,995. The first properties at the development are expected to be ready to move into in early 2023.
Located just off the A6, homes at Cross Fields will enjoy a rural village setting with a real sense of community with the chance to live an idyllic lifestyle. Residents of the development can look forward to picturesque walks along the banks of the River Wyre and Lancaster Canal.
The local farm shop offers somewhere close to home to stock up on essentials.
Less than a mile or a 10-minute walk from Cross Fields, Beacon Retail Park is home to a Co-Op Food convenience store, Italian restaurant, coffee shop, dessert bar and beauty salon.
The wider shops and services of Garstang are easily reached, including Booths and Sainsbury’s supermarkets and a weekly outdoor market; and there are pubs, restaurants and farm shops aplenty in the surrounding villages.
The name of the development was inspired by the location – the homes are being built close to Catterall’s grade II listed medieval cross.
