An exclusive development of just 18 luxury family homes has been launched by Dandara Scotland in the historic cathedral town of Dunblane, just five miles from Stirling.

Wallace View, named after Scotland’s most famous warrior William Wallace, will feature a collection of three bedroom bungalows, four and five bedroom houses in a quiet rural location on the outskirts of the historic town.

Bounded by mature woodland, the pedestrian-friendly development will feature homes from Dandara’s Island Collection with prices starting from £314,995 for the three bedroom terraced Lismore.

Tony Williamson, Head of Sales for Dandara East Scotland, commented: “It’s fantastic to be releasing the first properties at this highly anticipated new development which will provide a range of much-needed new homes in this beautiful town.

“They will be suitable for all different kinds of buyers from those purchasing their first properties to families looking for a forever home. We also expect the homes to be popular with downsizers who want to remain in the area but enjoy all the benefits of a low maintenance, energy efficient, contemporary home.

“Dunblane is an ideal location for commuters with excellent transport links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.”

Along with the Lismore, also currently available for reservation is the Raasay priced at £424,995, a three bedroom detached bungalow with large open-plan kitchen, the Rum four bedroom home from £464,995 and the impressive five bedroom Shetland V1, from £599,995.

Dandara is offering Assisted Move on all plots at the development, which means they can help arrange to sell buyers’ existing properties and pay estate agents fees as well. Unlike many similar schemes – buyers don’t have to be moving to a larger property, Dandara will also assist downsizers and side-steppers too.

Set to be popular with families, the development is a five-minute drive from Dunblane Primary and Dunblane High School, one of the top state secondary schools in Scotland. It is just over a mile from Dunblane high street with its gift shops, retailers, eateries, and Cathedral which dates back to the 12th century.

As you would expect from the hometown of Andy and Jamie Murray, tennis is at the heart of life in the town. Dunblane Sports Club, where it all started for the brothers, offers four all-weather artificial grass outdoor courts and two mini courts, along with two squash courts. For those who prefer hitting a ball on the fairways, Dunblane New Golf Club is nearby.

Lovers of the great outdoors will enjoy exploring Laigh Hills park with its woodland paths and wildlife – walkers can spot a wide variety of animals and birds including herons and sand martins. There is a play area for the little ones and a popular skate park.

A must-visit for new residents is the Wallace Monument, which towers above the fields where William Wallace led his troops to victory at The Battle of Stirling Bridge.  Stirling with its medieval castle, once a favoured residence of the Stewart Kings and Queens, is just a short drive away. The city, which is surrounded by spectacular scenery, offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, and cultural activities.

Wallace View is close to the A9 making Scotland’s two largest cities readily commutable. There are also regular train services from Dunblane Station to Stirling, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The new homes are currently being marketed by Nest Estate Agents in Falkirk, to find out more call 01786 568 208 or go to www.dandara.com
