Allison Homes South West appoints new land and partnerships director

Local housebuilder Allison Homes South West has appointed a new land and partnerships director to support its regional expansion strategy.

Simon Gilbert has joined the South West team with a wealth of experience in the housebuilding industry. Spending 14 years at Barratt Developments plc as development director, and holding director-level positions at Countryside Properties and Ilke Homes.  

Commenting on his new position, Simon said: “I am incredibly excited to join an ambitious and forward-looking company and to support the business in achieving its goals.

“The land team is focused on expanding our network in the region and bringing in new partners. We will be finding and securing new land opportunities to enable Allison Homes to deliver much needed new homes from Devon to Bristol.”

Allison Homes South West currently has six developments across the region in Buckland Brewer, North Tawton, Somerton, Winkleigh and Bradworthy, with Witheridge launching early 2024.
