Bovis Homes has released the first homes for sale at its new Beuley View location in Peters Village, following the completion of work at nearby Osprey Rise.

Beuley View will comprise 162 homes off Worrall Drive, including a range of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Two new show homes are also set to open in November, the three-bedroom Hazel, and the four-bedroom Chestnut. Selected properties are available to reserve under the new Home Stepper shared ownership scheme on a part buy, part rent basis.

Bovis Homes has finished work at Osprey Rise, also off Worrall Drive, where all 119 new homes are now built and sold.

Candice McCabe, marketing manager for Bovis Homes, said: “Construction work is progressing well at Beuley View and this has enabled us to be able to welcome visitors onto the site for the first time. Our dedicated sales advisors are ready and waiting to answer any questions potential purchasers may have about the development, while the new show homes will allow people to see for themselves how it would look to live in a fully completed property on the site.

“Peters Village is a much sought-after location and there has been a great deal of interest in both Osprey Rise and Beuley View. Peters Village is a peaceful rural riverside community which is served by a supermarket and a primary school and sits on the edge of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

“Osprey Rise has been a fantastic success story, where we have built and sold all the new homes on the development and seen a vibrant new neighbourhood take shape. We anticipate that the strong demand for properties at Osprey Rise will transfer to the collection of apartments and houses at Beuley View.”

Bovis Homes has joined forces with Sage Homes, England’s largest provider of new-build affordable homes, to launch Home Stepper, with a choice of three-bedroom houses – the Hazel, Beech and Spruce designs – available under the scheme at Beuley View.

The scheme has been set up to assist house-hunters who cannot afford to purchase a property outright by offering homes on a part-buy, part-rent arrangement. To be eligible, their annual household income must not exceed £80,000, they must have a deposit of five per cent of the share they are buying, and they need to undergo affordability checks.

Candice said: “The Home Stepper initiative allows us to reach out to help people who cannot afford to buy a home outright get a foot on the property ladder. This is great news for young purchasers and first-time buyers because we can offer them the chance to secure a new-build home with a smaller deposit.

“The three-bedroom homes available with the scheme are all top-quality houses which would be ideal for a young family or a couple who need additional space at home, whether that’s for work or having people to stay.”

At Beuley View, buyers can purchase a 50 per cent share in a Hazel house type from £212,500, a similar share in a Beech from £220,000 and a 50 per cent share in a Spruce from £224,500. There is also a choice of three and four-bedroom new homes available to reserve on the open market, priced from £429,995 to £589,995 respectively.

Bovis Homes is part of Vistry Group, which also includes Linden Homes and Countryside Homes. For more information about the new homes at Beuley View, visit bovishomes.co.uk.
