Dandara spreads holiday cheer with wreath giving to local charity
Members at WADE Day Care Centre are getting in the Christmas spirit thanks to a donation of wreath making kits from local housebuilder Dandara, who is building new homes nearby at its Oakwood Place development in Spencers Wood.
WADE Day Care Centre is a community-driven charity dedicated to providing vital support for individuals aged sixty and above in Wokingham and its neighbouring areas. The centre serves as a welcoming haven, offering a conducive environment for members to connect socially, enjoy nutritious meals, and take part in engaging activities.
Philip Mirfin, Chairman of Trustee’s for WADE Day Care Centre, commented: “At WADE, we believe in the power of community and the positive impact it can have on the well-being of our elderly members. Dandara's generosity has enabled us to provide a meaningful activity that we’re sure will contribute to our members overall health and happiness. They had a great time and made some amazing festive wreaths!”
